Dear Chinese Teachers,

The ACTFL 2024 Convention will take place from Friday, November 22 to Saturday, November 24, 2024  in Philadelphia. CLASS has planned a series of exciting events for the convention, and we warmly invite you to join this annual gathering of world language educators.

To register for the convention, please visit https://www.actfl.org/convention-and-expo. If you are a member of both ACTFL and CLASS, we kindly remind you to register as a CLASS member. It will help increase the number of CLASS-sponsored sessions in the future.

Highlights of CLASS-Sponsored Events/Sessions:

  • 20 CLASS-Sponsored Sessions: We encourage you to participate in these forward-thinking sessions, which cover a range of topics relevant to K-12 educators.   • CLASS Booth (#549): Stop by our booth during the convention to connect with CLASS representatives, access teaching resources, and network with fellow educators.

  • CLASS Annual Luncheon & Award Ceremony:

    Time: 12:00–1:15 pm

    Location:  Pennsylvania Convention Center, Room 108AB

    Celebrate excellence in Chinese language education and build connections with world language professionals. Door prizes will be available.

  • CLASS Membership Meeting & Swap Shop:

    Date: Friday, November 22, 2024

    Time: 7:00–9:30 pm

    Location: Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, Grand Ballroom - Salon D

    Join us for an evening of idea-sharing and networking. CLASS board members will update you on the events and activities for K-12 teachers and students. Surprised prizes await!
