Join 1990 Institute's 7th annual CHINA NOW Teachers Workshop, China on the Move, on July 26 & 27 in Redwood City, California. Explore the latest trends and what’s on the horizon in economics, technology, the environment, healthcare, and the arts. Understanding the complex issues in US-China relations is more critical than ever. We present a balanced view to help teachers gain a more nuanced understanding of the multifaceted US- China relationship to share with their students. Middle and high school teachers will hear from several China experts, then work with UC Berkeley History Social Science Project facilitators to integrate modern China content into their lessons. $200-$400 stipends and 1.6 CEUs are available.
